Welcome to Daily Miracles, a running commentary on the 365 lessons of A Course in Miracles, an influential spiritual text from the 1970s. I am James Leroy Wilson and I invite you to join me as I go through this material for the first time.
Lesson 181
I trust my brothers, who are one with me. (ACIM, W-181)
If I first see sin in others, I see sin in myself, and if I first see sin in myself, I will see sin in others.
We can't get past the innate knowledge that we are one and the same. But what are we, sinful or sinless?
What would you rather be? One who sees the illusion of sin in yourself and (therefore) others? Or would you rather see sinlessness?
Seeing sinlessness means not thinking about sin at all. And when you're not thinking about sin, you will indeed trust anyone you encounter.
Sinlessness is just our default nature, which is love.
